In the late 1960s – early 1970s, Hip-Hugger Bell-Bottom pants were the height of fashion. No fabric or color was taboo – jeans, striped linen, cotton with brightly-colored flower motifs, and even polyester pantsuits were cut as bell-bottoms.
Flossie Potter has re-created the look for your American Girl® Doll in this EASY pdf sewing pattern. Sixteen pages of detailed instructions with full-color photo illustrations, three pages of full-size pattern pieces, and four pages of printable instructions (to save on printer ink!) show you how to make your own fashion statement. What's more, the pants can be created with or without the optional belt-loops* to vary your doll's wardrobe.
These pants were designed to fit American Girl® dolls. However, with a little adjustment, you may fit them to other 18" dolls.
Combine the bell-bottoms with Flossie Potter's "Woodstock Peasant Top" and the "Favorite Fringed Vest" for a whole ensemble.
*Optional belt loops not recommended with denim. Light-weight material only.
