The Halter Sun-Dress by MyAngieGirl is inspired by 1970’s fashion. This vintage style backless, halter-necked pattern design features three lengths to choose from. Make a gently gathered peplum style top, two tiered short dress, or three tiered long maxi dress. The bodice and straps are one piece which fastens at the neck with a snap or hook and loop tape. The back is shirred elastic with the option to sew a casing for narrow elastic.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit a wide range of 18" and some 15" dolls. The elastic back can be made wider or more narrow to fit the many different sizes.
Suggested fabrics for the Halter Sun-Dress include lightweight cotton and blends, lightweight wovens, lightweight silks or taffeta, etc.
