The Gloria Dress 18" Doll Clothes Pattern

1 review   |

The Gloria Dress is the fourth pattern in a series of seven in the Tribute Collection. The design features an extended waistline dress with three bodice variations: A V-neck front with a diamond cutout in the back bodice, a V-neck front with a full back, and a scoop front and back bodice. Each bodice may be made sleeveless or with one of the two sleeve patterns provided (a short puff banded sleeve or the half chevron sleeve). The chevron sleeve may be lengthened or shortened if you choose. The dress has two skirt styles: a straight hem and a shaped chevron hem in three different skirt lengths: short, knee and tea. The dress is designed to fit somewhat loosely on 18" dolls such as American Girl®, and is closed with a button-up back. Snaps and mock buttons may be used as an alternative to buttonholes for easy dressing and undressing.

Also included is a unique kanzashi bow and sash pattern and instructions to complement this wonderful design. By combining the different pattern pieces this pattern offers up to fifty-four unique style possibilities. The dress requires some hand finishing to achieve a couture finish.

Complete the outfit with The Gloria Slippers, also from Sharp Dressed Dolls.
