Note: This design is fitted with darts to allow a smooth line under waistbands and jumpers. The design is modeled on the newer, slimmer American Girl™ dolls with waists smaller than 11.” As a general rule, compare your doll’s measurements to the pattern before cutting your fabric, especially if you have an older doll.

This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
Suggested fabrics: batiste, lawn, poplin, lightweight quilting cottons in mini prints, stripes, etc., eyelet, seersucker, dotted swiss, and similar lightweight fabrics. If using very sheer fabric, consider cutting 2 front pieces with one serving as a lining for the blouse front.

- Collar and Puffed Sleeve Cuffs: ⅛ yd.
Notions
- 5 small buttons measuring 5/16” – 3/8”
- New, sharp size 11/75 needle
- 2 cuts of ⅛” wide flat elastic measuring 3 ½” for the long sleeves
- Optional: Extra thin and narrow non-snag hook and loop tape
- Optional: ⅛”- ¼” ribbon, lace, or rick rack trim
- Optional: matching single fold bias binding or cut your own 9” x 1” for neck and two 9” strips for long sleeve casings

- Polyester or polycotton blend standard all-purpose thread to match fabrics
