Spring is in the air with this delightfully versatile Halter Neck Vest and Skirt outfit, by Little Miss Muffett. Mix and match fabrics, use contrasting fabrics; go black and white for a bold stylish outfit or cute animal prints for something fun, anything goes and the options are endless. Worn on its own or over a pretty blouse, the fully lined and piped Vest sports a cute round-edged fully lined piped pocket and halter strap. Pretty buttons finish off the Front edge of the Vest which closes with hook and loop tape. The two-tiered skirt has a faux tulle petticoat and the full gathered waist is attached to a waistband which closes at Back with a Snap. This relatively easy pattern is designed to fit 14.5-inch dolls such as WellieWishers™.

Fabric Used – Quilter’s Cotton was used for the Vest and Skirt. Soft lightweight cotton was used for the linings of the Vest, Halter Strap and Pocket. Medium-weight Tulle was used for the ‘Petticoat”.

Vest, Halter Strap & Pocket Lining : Soft Lightweight Cotton - 7” x 10”
‘Petticoat’ : Medium-weight Tulle – 2” x 88” or 12” x 24”
Notions:
Narrow Piping for Halter Top – DIY or Purchased : 30”
Hook & Loop Tape for Vest Front : 3/8” wide x 1 ¼”
Snap Fastener for Skirt Back : 1 x ¼” – ⅜” wide
Buttons for Vest : ¼” wide x 4
Small Piece Fusible Webbing for Pocket Variation : 1” Square
Matching Thread, Marking Pen, Point Turner, Hemostatic Clamp, Clear Tape, Masking Tape, general sewing supplies.
A ‘Universal Sewing Needle – 80/12’, a Walking Foot, a General Purpose Foot, a Piping Foot, Zipper Foot, Open-Toed Foot and a ¼” Foot are used during the sewing process.
