Get to know Linda (in her own words): "I started sewing with just a needle and thread when I was a very young girl. My sister and I used to sew clothes for our Barbie and Trolls dolls.I learned more about sewing with a machine in Home Economics class in Junior High.I sewed all of my own clothes when I was in high school and then moved on to Halloween Costumes for my son while he was growing up. About 2008 my granddaughter asked for an American Girl doll for Christmas. That’s when I started sewing for 18” dolls and it just brought back all the memories of my sister and our sewing adventures so long ago.I was hooked! I’ve been doing it ever since and I took classes from Cinnamon for Design School and Pattern Making and that brought me to Pixie Faire. What a great pleasure it is to be a part of the Pixie Faire team and I look forward to many more new adventures."

I love the scout uniforms – I would have loved to see these modeled on a boy and a girl doll! My husband and son have been in Boy Scouts – my husband remained an adult leader at the Council level even after our son was done. My girls have been Girl Scouts, but they’ve also participated in BSA – in Venturing and now, for my youngest, as a Scout in a new BSA Troop for Girls. These are wonderful – for boys and girls alike!
