Hi everyone,
On Friday (July 22nd) we are offering a free doll clothes pattern from Designer Karen Sherman and her Jelly Bean Soup brand. Be sure to vote now and return on Friday to get your free copy!
More About Karen Sherman: Making and designing doll clothes, for me, came about by accident. My granddaughter had an American Girl doll and wanted me to make a cheer outfit for her doll that matched her cheer outfit. (She was part of a competitive cheer team at that time). Of course I made the outfit for her. Soon after she got the little outfit, we went to Dallas for a competition. She took her doll who was all decked out in the matching outfit. At the competition her teammates saw what I had made and wanted an outfit for their doll. So I took orders to make more. Later that day we went to the American Girl doll store in Dallas. I was ‘TOTALLY HOOKED’. Sometime later, we came upon the Liberty Jane and Pixie Faire web site and the rest is history.

More About Each Pattern:
The Sleepover PJs For 15 & 18 Inch Dolls: All American Girls love cute pajamas. And the Sleepover PJ PDF Pattern by Jelly Bean Soup Designs will be sure to make your American Girl a super cute pair to wear to her next sleepover! This pair of pajamas feature cropped or long pants and a raglan sleeve top. The top will easily work for the Bitty Baby dolls. Easy and fun to make fringe and an easy bias binding complete the look. Your 18 inch doll will look so cute however you make them, be it all of one color or in a combination of coordinating fabrics. As a bonus in this PDF sewing pattern, make the little top in a different fabric to wear as a top to go with her skirts or a cute pair of jeans or pants!
The Cute As A Button Jacket For 18 Inch Dolls: This jacket is perfect for school or play! Warm and quilty and oh so stylish! Your American Girl loves to look her best in whatever she wears and for whatever she does. You will love this PDF pattern because there are so many options for choosing fabric. The pink jacket utilizes a pair of old jeans and double faced quilted fabric. The other jacket is also double faced quilted fabric and corduroy.

The Patio Dress PDF Pattern from Jelly Bean Soup Designs will give your doll the perfect thing to wear for all of those fun events. This fun dress features a border print used for the long skirt with coordinating colors. The cute top of the dress is cool and comfortable featuring spaghetti straps and a tiny ruffle on the bodice. Ahh! Karen, you do such beautiful work! I loved all these patterns, but as the other sewers in here, I will take whatever I get. just to let you know though, the Vintage PJS jumped out at me. then the Patio Dress, and then the Cute as a Button, and last, but not least the Sleepover PJS.
Thank you for the free pattern!!! Wonderful!!!
Thank you for so much for the free cute as a button jacket pattern….If you did not get the email, just put it in your shopping basket. It will come up at $0.00…. You are wonderful.
love them all. I voted for the jacket, also. Also, have not received my “freebie e-mail”.
Love the peplum on the bottom of the jacket! I have some Christmas fabric remnants that will be perfect for a nice holiday outfit. Too cute! Thank you, Karen, for sharing!
I didn’t vote cause they are all cute. But it is already 3 PM on Friday and I haven’t received my “freebie” email yet.
Cute as a button is my choice.
Haven’t received the freebie as of yet.
Never received any “freebie” pattern in my e-mail on Friday, July 22nd, 2016????
Love them all. Will be happy with the one that wins!
Love the vintage pjs
I have the vintage pj’s on my Wishlist so I am voting for that pattern. I have already purchased the patio dress , great pattern!
All of the patterns are just beautiful, and it is so hard to choose. Thank you so much for your generosity. I will be happy with which every pattern wins. God Bless.
Once again it is going to be exciting to wake up on Friday morning. All of the patterns are darling and I don’t have a single one. I guess I would like th e jacket to win, but no matter which one wins I will love to have something cute to work on. Thank you so much for your generosity!
Все модели хороши собой,трудно что то выбрать определенное .
Another hard decision this week. They are all so lovely, but because I have to choose, it will be the Vintage PJ’s. Thank you Karen, for your fabulous choices this week. Your designs are all so delightful – I want them all.
Patio Dress
Cute patterns! Thank’s for your generosity! I voted for the jacket.
Thank you for all the wonderful choices.
The patio dress is my first choice since it is stays summer in Tucson until October. The Jacket would be my second choice. The PJ’s are cute but I wouldn’t really use them since I generally don’t make doll pjs.
I love the cute has a button jacket, but anyone of the patterns I would like the pajamas are adorable.
Vintage Pjs has my vote. But they are all cute.
All are really cute, fresh, creative designs! Truly any would (should) be the winner.
Voting for your cute as a button jacket. Thanks for offering your fun designs for Freebie Friday!
All are so cute! Very hard to pick one!
Thank you for the patterns. My granddaughter picked the vintage pj’s, very hard choice this time.
I looove the jacket, but they’re all really cute!
This time I went with the Vintage PJ’s. This pattern seem to be the most versatile. It would make a cute top to wear with pants. Once again, all the outfits are precious. Thanks for sharing your talents.
All the patterns have lots of interesting detail and all very cute.
I think all the patterns are cute, our dolls can always use a good pair of PJ’s, and Jackets they can use also. I think the patio dress is cute, I’ll vote for the patio dress.
Love your patterns! Thank You!
Wow…this was a difficult decision…all of these patterns are adorable. I voted for the sleepover pj,s because I do not have a pj pattern. Thank you for being so generous and offering us one of your gorgeous patterns.
All the patterns are very cute, but to choose, the jacket. :)
Love all the patterns. I chose the pj. I have the fabric to sew with my granddaughter.
Thank you!
I am hoping for the Cute as a Button jacket!
Patio Dress, or Cute as a Button Jacket. Thank you!

I’m voting for the Sleepover PJ’s. They are so cute
I love the sleepover PJs. All of them are so cute.
Love the pjs.
all patterns I have gotten from you have been great. I will vote for the cute as button jacket.
“Jaimie (the AG doll) says she NEEDS pajamas and she loves the sleepover pajamas” said my granddaughter, Jaimie’s mother.
“Victoria, wants the sleepover pajamas” said my grandniece, Avigalil.
So, I voted for sleepover pajamas as that’s what their “mums” said they wanted.
And I’d like to make them pajamas… so easy when I get to make two at once.
I’m voting for the sleepover pjs because by leaving off the fancy trim and using boy print fabric, I can use this pattern for my AG custom boy doll as well as all the girls!. I have the jacket already, but will be happy with any of these patterns as they’re all so cute. Thanks Karen!
My fav = Sleepover PJ’s!
I picked the Cute as a Button Jacket - I’ve been wanting to make a jacket for my American girl Dolls and I believe they’d love it :D
I really like the patio dress. I just got back from the beach, so it seems so very appropriate.
They are all so sweet but I really love the cute as a button jacket!
I love them all but I love the PJ’s the most.
what great choices – what a difficult decision!. thank you for your generosity.
I’m an “old” lady now so everything Vintage appeals to me….couldn’t resist those vintage pjs!!!!
They are all so cute, but I’m leaning towards the PJs… but which pair???? I can’t decide!
love them all
Tough choice as all 4 patterns are very cute. My final choice was the jacket. TY for offering one of these as a Freebie Friday giveaway pattern
J’adore la variété et la mode rétro. Bravo! Les pyjamas sont superbes! Je vote.
Merci pour ces beaux choix.
Thank you so much for the generosity of Freebie Friday! I don’t have any of these so whatever the outcome it will be a fun little prize. I voted for the vintage pjs.
Sleepover PJs. It was a tough decision.
The Patio Dress
Love them all. But my vote is the Sleepover PJ’S. Cause you can make this pattern for the 15 " And 18" doll.
I like the vintage pjs!
Ohhh WOW!!! Karen, it is almost impossible to make a choice between these so well designed patterns. Each one has a wonderful potential to make doll clothing sewing both fun and interesting.
However, if I must vote, it will have to be for the Patio Dress because we are in the middle of summer with an incredible heat wave – the dress looks so cool and wonderful.
Whichever one wins the vote will be made x 7, one for each of the 7 grandchildren’s AG doll.
Thanks so much for your generosity
Cute as a button! Thank you!
I love all the patterns, but especially the vintage PJ’s. Thanks so much for offering the freebie patterns. I really look forward to Fridays! Even though I have purchased several of your patterns. They are all very special.

Love the Cute As a Button.
Actually they are all cute but I think that is my favorite pattern.
Love your creations.
I like the vintage PJ’s. With a little revising, they could look a lot like Rebecca’s white eyelet pajamas. So cute!
I would like them all but I will have to think about it a little bit
