More About Tara and Knot Sew Cute (in her own words):
Designing for dolls started for me when my daughter received her first doll. Immediately, the creating began! As we all know, a girl can't just own one outfit!! I'm not a sewist, at all, so I turned to what I know best...crochet. As a crochet pattern designer for the last 9 years, I have stitched many full size accessories and home decor items. It has been a fun twist to now recreate them in doll sizes. I hope that my crochet patterns inspire you to pick up your hook and yarn and join the ever growing trend of the fiber arts.

Ombre Infinity Scarf Tunisian Crochet Pattern for 18" Dolls: Time to bundle up! The cold weather is approaching quickly. I love how the colours flow into one another in this infinity scarf, giving it so much interest. Three coordinating colours create 4 repeated colour blocks. The scarf can be soft and subtle or as loud and bright as you wish. Coming up with different colour combinations is half the fun! You can really make your doll's personality shine with this scarf. This scarf is created using tunisian crochet so a basic knowledge of tunisian crochet is recommended. The pattern uses 2 strands of lace weight yarn held together. The photos show it done in Knit Picks Alpaca Cloud (100% baby alpaca) but any comparable yarn can be easily substituted.

Love the felted slippers!
Like others the post wasn’t showing up on my computer :o( Hopefully, it will next week. I liked the knotted headband.
Lovely patterns, I missed the vote as well.
I love all of them but wanted the slippers,,how do I get the freebie pattern?
I voted for the slippers but always appreciate free patterns. Thank you!
I don’t crochet maybe I need to learn. Cute patterns.
I too check on Thursday but it wasn’t up and disappointed that I wasn’t able to vote I would have voted for the slippers. Thank you for the pattern for Friday.
Sad… I was trying to keep an eye out for the voting… but it only showed up for me literally a few minutes ago (it’s now after 2 am Thursday… going into Friday) and it’s way too late to vote. While all the patterns are cute and thankfully crochet (I can’t knit to save my life hehe), I would really have liked to get in my vote for my choice (I would have voted for the felted slippers, actually). I do thank you for having such cute patterns and sharing with us though.
Thanks for the pattern. Seems like a lot of us missed the voting poll in spite of checking regularly.
Glad I’m not alone and that others mentioned that they’ve been looking for the Friday vote/notification for a few days – because, I thought I must be doing something wrong looking in the wrong places or . . . just sayin’ glad it’s not me! So, that being said, the choice of patterns look like any one of them would be fun! Thanks!
Knotted headband has my vote
Darn, I missed voting too, even though I’ve been watching for it all week :(
The free pattern is greatly appreciated, though! And I’m really glad to see crochet patterns since I can kind of crochet (just not very well), but am hopeless with knitting :)
I missed the voting also and I have never seen any winners of the doll give away.
We use to be able to start voting on Wed. So I looked today and now it is closed. So I don’t know what is going on. Thx for the free pattern.
I would have like to have voted, too. All the patterns are very cute. I’ve checked several times for the poll. Like Nancy, I’m in the Eastern time zone. When I saw the poll around 11 P.M. or so, it was closed. :(
This is pretty annoying. I came to the site Thursday am Pacific Time to vote and the poll wasn’t up yet. After being gone all day, I came to the site Thursday evening and the poll was closed.
Missed the voting somehow. But thank you for this opportunity to get one of your patterns.
Thanks for the cute patterns. Wish I could’ve voted, but every time I checked, the poll wasn’t up for this week, and now it’s closed before 11:30 Eastern. ?
Love Mary Ellen in the green sweater and hat
Love the slippers because you just don’t find many patterns for the doll’s feet. Scarfs are cute too but that I can figure out pretty much myself.
The felted slippers!
Thank you so much for such generous choices! Your patterns are adorable!
Knotted Headband so cute. Thank you.
Knotted headband for me. I am going to have to learn to crochet! Thank you for sharing your patterns!
love the knotted headband! Thank you for sharing!
The patterns are all adorable, but the knotted headband really catches the eye. That gets my vote, although I really love the felted slippers to so………………um hard decision now. Thanks so much for sharing Tara.
I voted for the Ombre Infinity Scarf. They’re all such cute patterns. Thank you Tara!
Oh my gosh are they all adorable. I will have to take up crocheting ! Thank you for sharing.
I vote for the slippers. Everything is adorable and thank you Tara and Cinnamon for all the patterns.
Thank you, Tara for sharing your patterns with us. I voted for the headband, but any of the patterns will be a wonderful addition.
Knotted headband
What a fun surprise this week! I think the slippers are super cute- it looks like a great project for the chilly days and nights ahead. I haven’t crocheted in awhile (about 20 years), but maybe relearning will be a new year’s resolution! Thank you for which ever pattern wins!
Thanks for the fun patterns! I always like having something on my hook or needles to take places with me. (can’t take the sewing machine to the dentist, etc!) It will be fun to have a new pattern to try out. I’m choosing the felted slippers. :)
I do not crochet, but with these patterns looks like I will try. Thank you Tara and Pixie Faire for cute patterns and I voted for the headband.
Don’t know how to crochet but I can learn. Thanks for all the free items.
I don’t crochet or knit, so I guess that leaves me out this week. And, felting—too much work for a doll—but just my opinion.
Crocheted items! Just up my alley! The felted slippers get my vote this week. Thanks for the pattern choices this week Tara. They are all so lovely. Thanks too, to Cinnamon for the opportunity to vote.
Don’t crochet, so I won’t vote this time.
I used to crochet many years ago. Any of these patterns should encourage me to retrieve my crochet hooks from the closet. Something I have been thinking about for something. Thanks! Sandy
Thank you for the pattern. Maybe it’s time for me to learn to crotchet.
I like all of them but I’ll take whatever is voted. That’s the way to do it.
I don’t crochet. Do any of these lovely patterns come in knit.
Lovely choices – I really love the headband but would be happy with any of them
Many thanks Tara
Cannot crochet but cute
I chose the Knotted Headband. Thank you for all of the lovely items.
Is there instructions on how to KNIT the knotted headband. So cute but do not crochet.
I like to add matching slippers to the pajamas I’ve already made for my granddaughter for Christmas. Thank you!
I don’t knit or crochet, but I appreciate the work that goes into designing and making these items. It’s nice that you are giving those who do knit or crochet a chance for a free pattern they s week.
Knotted headband for me but anything would be great. Thanks for the great patterns.
i love them all ,thank you Tara now I need to refresh my crochet skills
I love the knotted headband. Haven’t crocheted in a long time. Be great to get back into it.

Felted Slippers for me!
I love them, especially the slippers! I really need to learn to crochet now!
They are all cute, but I like the little slippers best. I will be happy with any of them. Then I just have to get my daughter to do the crocheting.
Wow! Another hard choice! Guess I am just going to have to learn how to knit. Wonder if my daughter will teach me? Thank you sharing such cute patterns with us!
I love the knotted headband, it’s so cute and great for the colder days.
