More About Donna and Eden Ava Couture (in her own words).

I taught myself to sew when I was a very young 20 year old, who was starting a new job, and needed a quick wardrobe.  I moved on to sewing for the home when I purchased my first house.  When my daughters started collecting American Girl Dolls, I found I could make most of the clothes in one evening….and that was it…..I was hooked by the instant gratification! Designing and sewing for American Girl Dolls has become a passion for me.  Partnering with Pixie Faire is a both a thrill and an honor!

Thank you, Donna, for sharing one of your beautiful designs this week. I love your patterns! My vote went to the 1912 Apron Dress. It is such a romantic design, and it would look stunning on AG Ruthie or Rebecca.

I love the apron dress, put if I made it (even though I don’t have an 18-inch) I would hate for all that detail to be in the back. I would have made my girl wear it backwards! Great work Donna!

The beret in the Peppermint Snow outfit would look cute against fabric with an Eiffel Tower theme. That, with an easy dress and luxurious wrap gets my vote. Thanks for such cute pattern choices!
