I'm fairly certain I was the only 3rd grader in school making her own clothes! After raising 3 children, I was blessed with 6 grandchildren. Thank you Diane for making your patterns available for Freebie Friday! I voted for the darling Urban Handbag as I don’t have an actual 18" doll sized purse pattern and have only done simple tote bags with handles that I just cut out square or rectangular. All the patterns are cute, so whichever wins will be good for me!

I already have the ruffled skirt pattern, but it did not come with the little scarf looking piece on top of this pattern. I like the skirt very much. It is very adorable. Thank you for another cute & free pattern!! On a side note, printer ink is very expensive. The black background on the instructional pictures uses a lot of ink. Please consider using something more printer friendly.

I vote for the Urban Handbag. The skirt is cute but it’s for knits. The Urban Handbag has such great details and can be used for almost any doll, and looks like it can easily be resized to make in a girl’s size to match. It’s a perfect way to use fat quarters, those fabulous trims or baubles waiting to be used, or even fabric that matches this season’s dresses!
