More About Heidi Mittiga and Flossie Potter Patterns, (in her own words):
"Hello, fellow doll clothes sewing enthusiasts! I’m Heidi Mittiga of Flossie Potter Patterns, and I’d like to say that it’s been such a pleasure to design for you over the years. My tagline, “Yesterday & Today,” describes the type of patterns I love to create: Historical and Modern outfits and accessories, both for sewing and for knitting.
As my way of saying thank you for your loyalty, I’d like to offer you the Ladies Club Jacket pattern FREE FOR ONE DAY ONLY! This jacket is a special part of my new Ladies’ Club Collection from the 1950s era.
I'm so excited about all the pieces being introduced this week! This new collection is made up of 3 individual patterns that all coordinate together. I hope you'll take a look at the other patterns as well:
You can also pair the collection with my 1950s Pocketbook for an authentic look!

More About The Ladies' Club Jacket Pattern: The LADIES' CLUB JACKET is the second pattern in Flossie Potter's Ladies' Club Collection. This stylish fully-lined jacket features 3/4-length sleeves, reminiscent of the 1950s. A large decorative button serves as the focal point at the top of the diagonal cross-front edges.

I meant “can’t wait to make more.”
I just finished making this cute Ladies’ Club jacket using some scrap muslin. Just a little challenging on getting the lining sewn to the main fabric, but I worked it out and can wait to make more. The instructions do say “intermediate” level. The next one will be very easy for me. So quick to make once you know what to do. There are no problems with the instructions – clearly written and plenty of photos.
Nice Thank You :) she looks so sophisticated
Thank you for the cute Ladies Club Jacket.
I can remember my mother wearing the ’50’s dresses and I had a white pill box hat!! Thank for the memory!
I admire the way you have accessorized and created a complete look turning a little girl doll into a lady. The modified victory roll is very becoming, of course fashion returns to us!
Thank you Heidi. I was born in the 50’s so it is wonderful to look back at that era and remember my Mother in her Sunday outfits.
Thank you, Heidi, for sharing your beautiful patterns with us. The jacket reminds me so much of my mother, who wore a similar jacket, dress, pillbox hat and pearl necklace for my sister’s wedding, What a lovely memory, and what a lovely pattern!
Thank you so much
Thank You very much for the gift of this new pattern, I know I am going to have fun creating and putting this outfit together. (I have already purchased the dress and hat patterns and you graciously gifted us the purse pattern a few weeks back, this is going to be fun!!!)
Thank you Heidi for the cute jacket pattern!
Since I was born in the 50"s, I love seeing patterns from that decade. My sister —15 yrs older than me, would have been wearing the ladies attire. I love seeing what she would have worn.
Thank-you
Thank you so much Heidi. It is a great collection.
Cute little jacket. Thank you very much.
Lovely pattern.
Thank you so much for the great pattern.
Heidi very nice pattern, thank you! This nice jacket can be worn with anything, it is so versatile. Having a lining makes it easier to sew and one button, you can’t go wrong with that! This can be made with so many different fabrics and colors. It will even look great in a print. I love how the jewelry is so visible and looks just right with the jacket. I think it could possibly made reversible, then it would be 2 for 1! Thank you, marie
Thankyou so much for sharing your pattern with us. Turns out, I have over half of your collection on my wish list. Your sisters dress pattern is one of my.favorites, but theclub dress and several of the dresses from.that era, are perfect for my grand daughters dolls. Several I.will purchase for my own collection, as I love vintage. But, they are asking for raggedy ann, and the betsy ross with the flag, they love the hemed clothing. So again thankyou, I.will look forward to making the jacket and purchasing many of your patterns in the near future.
Very cute!
Thanks so much for the pattern! It’s adorable!
This pattern reminds me so much of the clothes I used to wear as a child and the clothes my mom wore in the early 50’s. I just love it. It brings back so many memories. Thank you so much for sharing. YJ
