Hi everyone,
On Friday (July 7th) we'll have a free pattern available from Karen Wadsworth the designer behind the popular Forever 18 Inches brand. Help us decide which pattern should be free and be sure to come back to Pixie Faire on Friday and download your free copy.
More About Karen In Her Own Words: I've always loved dolls. My tenth birthday present from my mother was an honest-to-goodness sewing basket filled to the brim with supplies, and a Barbie pattern. I was in heaven! I sewed throughout my high school years, and then began again when my great nieces received American Girl dolls. My teenage sons were horrified that their mother was playing with dolls. During that time I also discovered Liberty Jane patterns. Wow--stylish, detailed patterns for dolls with fantastic instructions and a beautiful fit! Before I realized what was happening I was designing my own patterns. Partnering with PixieFaire as a seller and designer has been such a fun adventure! I'm grateful to those of you who have become customers and friends along the way. This pattern is my thank you to all of you--enjoy!

More About Each Pattern
The Nautical Skirt Designed To Fit Disney Animator® Dolls: Calling all Disney Animator Dolls ready for an adventure! The Nautical Skirt With Pockets Pattern a skirt with deep pockets—so handy for dolls and their friends who want to stow important treasures! Option 1 of this PDF sewing pattern has decorative topstitching, an inset panel, deep patch pockets, a faux-buttoned waistband, and a straight gathered skirt that can be used with border prints or stripes. Option 2 is a simplified version of Option 1 to make the skirt an easy-level sewing project for newer seamstresses. Both skirts have flat fronts and elasticized backs for easy dressing and fit. Recommended Fabrics: Light-weight woven fabric with a tight weave and bit of drape.
The Infinity Dress Designed To Fit 18 Inch Journey Girl® Dolls: Wrap it, tie it, change it! The amazing and versatile Infinity Dress is now available for Journey Girls dolls, with skirt choices available in a short and full length, and an option for using differing fabrics for the bodice and skirt for your own unique designer look. The dress itself is very simple: it’s formed by joining four rectangles of varying sizes together, and sews together quickly. Like the “Big People” version, the straps have an infinite series of possibilities in the way they can be tied to form different looks—hence the name of the dress. It can be worn as a sun dress, party dress, bridesmaid’s dress, or an elegant formal, depending on the fabric, length, and how it’s tied. Make your own version of this PDF pattern, and you’ll have a blast playing with the straps and all their possibilities! Recommended Fabrics: Lightweight knits with a moderate (no more than 30%) one-way stretch Special Note - This pattern is designed to fit a Journey Girls Doll specifically and will not fit the standard 18 inch doll such as American Girl Doll. A Journey Girls doll is 18 inches tall but has a much slimmer body. You can see more info on our Doll Measurements page. This pattern is also available to fit American Girl dolls.
The Button Front Jumper For A Girl For All Time® Dolls: The Faux Button Jumper is a simple pattern with detailing that looks complicated--but isn't! It looks like it has a front placket, but looks can be deceiving. The placket is all show, and the jumper actually has only three main pattern pieces, plus cut strips for Straps and Optional Pockets. Option 1 is an Easy-level project for newer seamstress or those who want quick results (no closures, no lining, no facing, no worries!). Option 2 is slightly more advanced, and is finished with a lining to accommodate lighter-weight fabrics. Either option can be made with or without the optional pockets. The directions have been written comprehensively with many explanatory details for those who are newer to sewing. An experienced seamstress will probably be able to construct the Jumper just by reading the instructions highlighted in bold text. Happy sewing! Special Note - This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit A Girl For All TimeDolls specifically and will not fit the standard 18 inch doll such as American Girl Doll. An AGAT doll is 16 inches tall and has a slimmer hard plastic body. You can see more info on our Doll Measurements page.
The Frill Seekers Dress Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: Calling all Girly Girls! Traditional but contemporary, this pretty dress features a lined faux-wrap bodice, optional ruffles around the neckline or shoulders, a full gathered skirt cut on a gentle bias, and a self tie. It closes in the back with snaps or hook and loop tape. Two options are given for the neckline trim: contrasting purchased trim, or a self-ruffle that is finished off with easy bias edging using a Hong Kong Finish. A detailed tutorial on how to sew an attached lining with finished seams is also included in this PDF pattern. Don't miss the coordinating little sister pattern designed to fit 14.5" dolls such as WellieWishers™, also available on Pixie Faire. Recommended Fabrics: Light to medium-weight cottons, lightweight chambray, denim, or corduroy, lightweight sateens, silks, or brocades

I think my vote this week will go to the American girl sized Frill Seekers dress. I love the play on words for the name. I love the Seekers singing group as well. I like the fact that you used Sear sucker fabric to make this dress. It looks so cute and frilly for Summer and Spring.
All the dresses are lovely, but I think the frilly frill seekers should win. it is a very feminine pretty dress.
All are cute, BUT Infinity sent me running to my treasure chest of fabrics, hoping it is the pick as I can already see it made in both choices. One for me and one for grace. (Of course, she will probably get both because she has 4 doll to my one and only)
The Infinity dress is AWESOME!!

Love the Frill seekers Dress. It’s just perfect in the pink seersucker fabric, so feminine and girly. Thanks to Karen and to the Cinnamon team for your offerings this week.
The Frill Seekers Dress. Since I sew for kids caught in the shelter situation, I can see many different dresses with this pattern simply by making a few adjustments. It’s a wonderful design. Many thanks to the designer.
Frill Seekers dress :)
For everyone that likes the cut of the Frill Seekers dress but not the pink seersucker or the lace, be sure to check out the other images on the pattern download page. There are cute variations, and this was my pick this week.
All of them look great, but I think more kids would like the frill seekers dress. Thanks.
Appreciate all of them but prefer frill seeker please.

I love the Frill Seekers. I like the tie on the side and the lace on the front. I have the Infiniti pattern but haven’t sewn that one yet.
I rather like thé FRILL SEEKER DRESS. Not color, but thé dress. I like it à lot. Thank you for this chance to get the pattern .
All the patterns are so cute, but the Frill Seeker is my choice, thank you for your generosity!
Infinity dress, my daughter loves her Journey doll she received this past xmas and can’t wait for me to make her some clothes. Thank you.
j’aime beaucoup I like the Frill Seekers très actuelle très mode
I am voting for the AGAT pattern. I too am smitten with them and think the idea of a simple pattern for beginners, but that has options for the experienced sewer is a great idea. As the beginners advances, she will still have the doll and can learn to incorporate more techniques and enlarge her education on something that she has made before, but now with a lining, or pockets. Kudos to Forever 18 for including the Sometimes 16!
I like the infinity dress best, but don’t have the doll to fit it, so chose the Frill Seeker, which will fit our doll.
Good ideas to put for several kind of doll Thank you, but I must choose, I take The Frill Seekers dress Excuse my english I use the translator :)

Karen, all the patterns are so cute! You are a talented lady and I thank you, as well as Libery Jane, for your freebies. I have the Infinity Dress for AG and I love it. Since I don’t have any of the other dolls YET, I have to vote for the Frills.
Thank you Karen for offering a pattern for Freebie Friday. I have a number of your patterns. I make clothes for American Girl dolls as well as Disney Animated and the new Wellie Wishers. I have the nautical skirt for WW and the faux button jumper for AG, so I voted for the Frill Seekers for AG dolls and will probably purchase it for the other dolls in their sizes.
-I guess they’re all okay but none of them really jump out at me. If I had to choose, it would have to be the jumper. I looked at her other patterns and really like Drop Seat Jammies and Endless Schoolgirl.
You are SO talented Karen! Thank you for participating in this week’s freebie Friday!
Thanks
