I taught myself to sew when I was a very young 20 year old, who was starting a new job, and needed a quick wardrobe. I moved on to sewing for the home when I purchased my first house. When my daughters started collecting American Girl Dolls, I found I could make most of the clothes in one evening….and that was it…..I was hooked by the instant gratification! Designing and sewing for American Girl Dolls has become a passion for me. Partnering with Pixie Faire is a both a thrill and an honor!

The muu muu gets my vote – Nothing tiny to hand sew or get pulled off, no ribbons to fray, and no tiny straps. It can be formal or casual, and has a distinct look that always gets noticed. It’s simple and ruffly and twirly and everything fun that girls love to wear!

I spent part of my childhood in Hawaii, and I’ve been eyeing these patterns for quite some time, as they bring back many memories. I always enjoy working with your patterns. So cute and easy to use.
