Hi everyone,
On Friday (August 25th, 2017) we are offering a free pattern from Margie Bowie founder of Little Miss Muffett. Be sure to vote today and then come back and get your copy of the winning pattern on Friday.
More About Margie In Her Own Words: "I have always had a love of sewing and have been fascinated with manipulating fabric since being taught by my gran at around the age of 7. In more recent years, besides general sewing, I have made and taught quilting. My love of dolls was put on hold for many years until three years ago when I happened upon Pixie Faire’s site and fell in love with all the outfits and beautiful dolls. Living in South Africa, good quality dolls are not readily available, but a month after venturing into the doll world, my son surprised me with my beautiful AG Julie and with much encouragement from him, my late husband and awesome friends, I started designing dolls’ clothes. I have finally found my niche and love every minute of it."

More About Each Pattern:
The Pinkie Dress Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: A gorgeous dress made to resemble a skirt, top and bolero, teamed with an adorable Juliette cap sporting a big flower, is the perfect outfit for back to school. The dress, which closes with hook and loop tape in back, has a full gathered skirt consisting of three fabric layers with pinked hem edges and lace underlays to give a very soft look. The fitted, lined bodice has a pretty scoop neckline, a choice of two sleeve lengths and a faux bolero which is sewn into the shoulder and side seams. The bolero fronts are lined, have gathered lace edges and have contrast top-stitching on the front edges. Pretty buttons on either side of the bolero add a decorative touch. Bonus instructions are included to crochet a Juliette cap to complete the outfit. This easy PDF pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®. Looking for a cute costume idea? Use this pattern to make an adorable witch outfit!
The Faerie Faye Dress Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: An adorable, 'girlie-girl' dress with a waistline sash which ties at the back in a pretty bow. Made from Quilter’s Cotton, the dress has a wide round-neck; a lined, fitted-to-the-waist bodice; and the option of puffy or lace flutter sleeves. The short-sleeve hem edges are pinked and finished with a little bow. The 8-gore over-skirt, also in cotton, has a pinked scalloped hem edge. Lace Anglais was used for the gathered underskirt which is edged with nylon lace trim; it has a gathered Tulle petticoat which flares the skirt and tiny bows are sewn to the underskirt between the scallops. The dress closes with hook and loop tape in back. As a variation of the dress, use pretty coordinating or ‘mix and match’ fabrics to create a gorgeous ‘peasant skirt’ with a waistband sash. This easy PDF pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
The Puff Dolly Dress Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: An adorable full-gathered bubble-hemmed dress with a cute ruffle, just for fun. Made in soft lightweight Cotton, Chiffon, or Georgette, the dress features a round-necked bodice which has a drop-waist decorated with a pretty contrasting satin belt, buckle or bow; and a gathered puff skirt with ruffled hem. The dress is fully lined and closes with hook and loop tape in back. This easy PDF pattern offers a short-sleeved or sleeveless option and is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.
The Butterfly Kisses Dress Designed To Fit 18 Inch Doll Clothes Such As American Girl®: This gorgeous high-waisted little dress in two lengths, has a ruffled scoop neckline, accent color on the shoulders and the hem ruffle, which comes up at the side, is finished with a bow. Appliquéd butterflies are placed randomly on the dress for extra pizazz. The Dress is made from Quilter’s Cotton, the Bodice is lined and closes with hook and loop tape in back. The skirt is cut as one piece and with clever fabric and pattern placement, the side split can be either on the left or right side of the dress. This is a great way to use up those tiny scraps – combine lightweight denim with lace; strong contrasts with bright vibrant colors; soft pastels with florals – anything goes. This easy PDF pattern is designed to fit 18” soft-bodied dolls such as American Girl®.

Faeire Faye How adorable., Thank you Margie <3
Gosh! I love them all!! Each outfit has a way of making the doll look quite different from another just like her. The Butterfly should be for a young girl. The rest for older gals. My choice would be for the Faerie Fare, if I spelled it right. They are really very beautiful, each and every one!!!
Oh dear – must they ALL be for American Girl sized dolls EVERY week….?
Love them all but the Butterfly Kisses gets my vote. Thank you

Easy choice! The Faerie Fae dress has variations I like, plenty of opportunities to embellish. Also, it’s more of a classic little girl’s dress, which I don’t seem to have.
