More About Each Pattern:
Roebuck Bay Top Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: Whether you're traveling to the Outback or strolling the city sidewalks, this dainty cami is the perfect choice to make your doll feel special. This design, debuted as part of the 2012 Outback Libby: Roebuck Bay Outfit, features a button front and darling lace back to give a little ‘surprise and delight’! The design is simple yet elegant and sews up very quickly! Pair it with shorts and a tank or a breezy skirt and moto jacket to make a true fashion statement. Our cover example was made in a delicate cotton lawn fabric. For our Roebuck Bay collection top, we used a beautiful silk chiffon. Both examples used a lace mesh for the back. This PDF pattern is designed to fit 18 inch soft bodied dolls such as American Girl®. It has a loose fit and should fit a variety of the dolls in this category, including Pre-Mattel AG dolls. The top pictured is worn over the LJ Low Scoop Neck Tank Top, this pattern is available separately in the T-Shirt Variations or the Killara patterns.
The Lace Overlay Tank Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: Love the look of lace but don't want to be all dressed up? We've got the perfect top for you! Wear it on its own with a cute pair of cut offs or dress it up a bit with dark skinny jeans and a leather jacket - the choice is yours! The top features a unique design element - all the interior seams are enclosed with the underlayer being sewn right side facing up so that it is visible through the lace overlay. The bottom edges of each layer are hemmed separately for a loose layered look. The hemming technique illustrated is easy to do and provides a nice professional finish! The top closes in the back with a simple hook and eye closure providing an easy on off opening and eliminating the opprotunity of snagging caused by hook and loop tape. This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18” dolls such as American Girl®.
The Woomera Dress Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: We’re so excited to share this dress design featured in the Liberty Jane® Fall 2012 Outback Libby: Woomera outfit as a PDF doll clothes sewing pattern! Your 18 inch doll will look perfect touring in the Outback in this delicately feminine dress with the trendy high-low hemline. Details include tiny sleeve ruffles, working buttons and loops on the front closure, elastic waist and gentle shirring at the yoke. Bonus: Slip pattern also included. Slip is designed to be made with a lightwweight knit fabric and elastic trim (either 3/8" flat or 1/2" fold over elastic). Two strap designs are illustrated in the pattern.
The Kimberley Dress Designed To Fit 18 Inch Dolls Such As American Girl®: Welcome To The Kimberley Coast, the Outback’s premiere destination. Whether you're strolling along the beach or taking in the view from a cruise ship, the Outback Libby: Kimberley Tank Dress is the perfect choice for your exciting adventure. The flirty ruffles and lace inset give this charming dropped waist dress just the right amount of feminine flair. Princess seams highlight the inset design with gentle curves in the front and clean lines in the back. The dress is fully lined for an easily sewn neckline and finished off with armscye binding eliminating turning through the narrow shoulders! A button and loop closure at back adds another pretty detail. Suggested fabrics include: challis, rayon blends, cotton voile, batiste, or other soft, lightweight fabrics. Lace for Inset. Rayon challis was used in both cover examples. Fabric and lace were both originally white, dyed with liquid RIT dye to create custom fabrics with an exact match. Check out the LJ Instagram for a video of the dyeing process! instagram.com/libertyjaneclothing *1/2 yard is needed to cut bias ruffles. If using lace trim or straight grain ruffles, only 1/4 yard fabric is needed. The Liberty Jane® Outback Libby: Kimberley Tank Dress PDF Pattern is designed to fit an 18 inch doll, such as American Girl® or Tonner My Imagination.

I vote for the Kimberly Tank Dress. Thank-you so much Cinnamon!!
The Lace Overlay would be a pretty technique to learn, but the Woomera dress pattern has so many possibilities! – Steampunk with the right accessories, or a simple dress, or a top, or a swimsuit cover-up, or use the extra slip pattern and layers of lace for a Mori girl look. The Woomera dress gets my vote.
I chose the Woomera dress because it looks so summer like.
I pick the Woomera Dress, thank you.
Thank you, Cinnamon. You have really made it hard to choose this week!! I have it down to one of the dresses.

Thank you for all your beautiful designs, my vote is for the Kimberly tank dress.
I love the Kimberley Tank dress because it can be made to look different with different materials. A stripe would be so good – vertical stripes on the body of the dress and horizontal stripes on the ruffles. Thank you for all of your great patterns. It is such fun to sew for these dolls. I love how all the girls with these dolls enjoy the clothes I make for them.
Maggie
