I voted for Grace because I like her big blue eyes. I think it would be a better contest to have something different about the two doll other than just their faces, i.e. accessories, different hair styles/color, different brands but similar size, etc.

The outfit that they are wearing fits Grace and seems to be more her style. I’m sure that there are many other styles for Truly Me that would display her lovely features to best advantage. Since we are asked to vote for which doll models that particular outfit best, then it is an easy choice for Grace. I do appreciate Truly Me. She has a sweet, soft expression that is appealing.

When I taught third grade, we read the American Girl series and not only made the study of historical periods come alive, the students produced little vignettes where two different characters from different periods carried on a conversation, complete with their own outfits. This was before the dolls were available so the students designed their own costumes. The conversations that they wrote were amazingly accurate to the times. Good memories made fresh again while watching my great-granddaughter with her American Girl doll.

Wow.. It’s hard to tell.. Both girls look beautiful but I would vote for Grace. Grace’s eyes really pop in the outfit. Also her hair really gives it a little “bump” of courage that says “I’m Grace and I rock this outfit!”

Definitely Grace. When I first looked at the image, my eyes immediately went to Grace and caught her blue eyes, then travelled down to her outfit… then I read the text and noticed the other doll. She, by the way, is very pretty, but her type of beauty would benefit from strong vivid solid colours and daring clothing. She is exotic.
