I am thankful Jesus died for me.
I am thankful for my husband. Everyday he showers me with love. I have numerous health problems that prevent me from doing simple things for myself at times. He never complains when he has to take over those things that sometimes I can not do. If my hands are hurting too much, he will cut out my pattern pieces and fabric. If I run out of the color of thread I need, he runs to the store. If I am having a difficult day, he cooks for me. He encourages me daily to appreciate the life that we share. With never having children of our own, and few family and friends left with us at this point in our life, each day is a blessing.
I’m thankful for health. I was struggling with my health and in the past year it is has improved a lot and I am so grateful!

I am thankful for everything, the good, and the not so good. That’s what life is all about on this green earth? For even the not so good should help us to grow and be appreciative of the many, many blessings we have. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
I am thankful for my family, my friends, and being able to have what is needed to survive in this new world.
I am thankful every day for God’s amazing love and plan for my life. When I look at my life I see his plan folding out. My husband retired at the perfect time,, just as covid was rearing its ugly head. We moved to a beautiful secluded home in the mountains. I wake up every morning and am amazed that this is where I live. I have an incredible sewing room and he totally supports me in my sewing craziness. I am blessed to be able to create so many things for the people I love. I also sew memory bears for people. It is such a blessing to see how much they mean to the people who receive them. There are so many things to be thankful for every day and I definitely have learned to keep an open heart to see where this journey will lead me next

I’m thankful for all the tiny things in life (that aren’t really so tiny) like home, food, family, and relative health. It’s been a year of losses so I just keep reminding myself to be glad for all I have rather than sad for all that’s gone.

I’m Thankful for the fact that even though my Mom has Alzheimer’s she still remembers who I am, even though she had forgotten who half of our family are. 💕
I’m thankful for finally moving my sister-in-law to our property this month after a two-year building process. She has FTD (frontal temporal lobe dementia), her husband died in 2019, and she is with us for as long as my husband and I can help her. I’m also thankful for the construction people who prioritized our jobs at times to make this happen. Every time I was sure that we wouldn’t meet a deadline (for example, have the concrete pad poured in time for the trailer delivery, or the septic tank installed before her arrival, and most recently fixing the construction damage to the driveway and putting in a parking pad for her which was finished one hour before she arrived), it all fell into place. I’m also thankful that I am done being a general contractor, because I made so many mistakes along the way. I’m thankful her house sold for her asking price on the first day it was on the market. I’m thankful for the chance to serve another human being in this way, and the friendship we have developed throughout this process. I’m thankful that I also know I’ll need help, and that I have learned that sometimes all it takes is a specific request. And, I’m thankful that I have a supportive community who reminds me that I also need to take care of myself, as well. And that I finally have heat in my she-shed so I didn’t have to move all my sewing stuff into the house this fall. I guess I’m feeling thankful.
I am thankful for the precious gift of life and the ability to give joy to others!
I am thankful for the fact that my whole family is now vaccinated and we can share our Thanksgiving together with my 97 year old Nana. This may be one of the last holidays we get to share with her so doubly blessed. I’m also thankful for my newly married niece and her husband, who is a firefighter, and is making it possible to get my Nana safely into our home.
I am so thankful, especially this year, for a successful ankle replacement surgery which has removed all the pain that I was experiencing before the surgery. Arthritis had eaten away all the cartilage in my right ankle and I was walking around with bone on bone movements. Great relief! I am also so thankful for my husband and son who took such good care of me during my recovery! They are the absolute best! Thank you, Lord, for making my life so much better and pain free!

I am thankful for my family.
I’m thankful for the pets I’ve had through the years. They’ve eased my lonely heart. My rabbit pillow as a baby, my keyboard cats, my footstool dog, my furry lap-warmers, the dog who learned to climb trees with me as a teenager and had his own pet cat, the Molly-cat with the book-mark tail, the penny gig who loved to talk with me as I worked, my “nurse” cat who comforted me when I was ill and the one who helped me raise my baby girl. Now they help teach kindness and caring to my grand-cubs. I have been richly blessed.
I’m grateful for my children and grandchildren and husband.
