I’m thankful for being able to wake up in the morning! Honoured to have made it this far in my life. I am very grateful for my Nana and Mum, who taught me to knit and sew. Giving me a wonderful chance in life to create gifts for family, friends and also those in need. I have made and donated quilts for the firefighter’s families who lost loved ones in 9/11, to Wildfire victims, here in Australia and to Soldiers in Afghanistan. To give and show my support has been a real blessing, and not to just the recipients, but to me too….It really does feel wonderful to be able to use my skills I have learned to help others. And then I found Pixie Faire…..truly turned my whole life around,(I was suffering from severe depression – having lost my two sons and five grandchildren from my life) From finding the dolls whom I adore, and being able to sew them clothes, and also learning and improving sewing skills with Sewing with Cinnamon. Dolls have almost become my life! – Thank you.
I am thankful for Christ my savior and to live where I am free to openly celebrate Him! I am thankful for my family and all that has been provided!

I am thankful for my parents who wrapped me in love and taught me so much: to love unconditionally; to care for and about others; to accept what we are given as a gift and to share our gifts and talents with others; to see the good in everyone; to accept what life gives you and make the best of it; to greet each day with a smile; to persevere and be resilient; to be the best version of myself that I can be; to be generous; and so much more. I will never know all of the sacrifices they have made for me. They continue to support me in all that I do and have made me the person I have become. As they are now elderly, I am so very thankful that I have the oppourtunity to thank them for all they have done for me, and give back to them by caring for them in return.
