“My favorite fashion era is…renaissance/medieval (with a fantasy twist). I would love to see an outfit that included a dress similar to the Frost Queen body shape but with side laces, puffed sleeve at the shoulder, tight fitted long cuffs with “buttons” along the forearm. It would have a velvet bodice vest with quilted rolled “sleeves”, with a laced up front. I imagine this could be dressed up with brocade ribbon/pearl buttons/ embellishments or more casual with simple fabrics, muted colors and basic embellishments. You could always add a bow, arm bracer & quiver to make her a huntress OR with slits all the way down the sides/laced underarm to the hip then open to the hem/fitted pants with “leather” boots, make vest out of a metallic looking fabric/sword and she becomes a knight. This Princess repels down towers, rides dragons and fights her own bad guys!
I appreciate seeing children fashions of all eras for AG doll clothing … think they would be less complicated to sew than formal ball/party wear too.

My favorite fashion era is ALL OVER MANY YEARS so hard to choose just one time and I would like to see a historical pattern offered for the 1930s/1940s with fabric manipulation: darts/tucks/pleats – the interesting dressmaking details that made use of just the fabric in geometric shapes. I see that these vintage patterns are offered by Vogue for women’s sizes and I would like to see some in doll fashions.
