My biggest challenge is that my mind works 24/7 giving me so many things I want to make and not enough time to complete them. I go between knitting, sewing, hand quilting, to making felt ornaments and doll clothes. I also enjoy making doll food. I wish had more time to do everything I enjoy. My happiest moment is when I do complete a project.
My biggest challenge is finding the supplies and organizing my project. I guess I am a “kit” sewer. I live in an area with no fabric store for over 50 miles. Just Walmart.
My biggest challenge is scheduling time for making doll clothes. When I do schedule time and follow through I have so much fun making the clothes. My Granddaughters love the clothes also.
My biggest challenge in sewing is curved seams.
My challenge is waiting for the grandchildren who will love the dolls and creations made for the dolls. I would love clothes for the 6" dolls too.
My biggest challenge is organizing my craft room. I sew, quilt, knit, crochet, as well as dabble in most other crafts. The room needs an extension???

I have had three large and difficult challenges in my sewing life…I love to knit, crotchet, and sew, but the first big challenge came when I was just 13 and my baby sister went to school and told all her friends that I would make the Barbie clothes that were in the little catalogues that came with the Barbies that were other outfits you could order from Mattel…I had no patterns …but I made beautiful outfits that looked just like them and those girls still have and treasure them a half a century later….amazing…the second challenge was when a young friend trusted me to make her wedding dress and head piece for her wedding….I was 22 a mother of two and flat broke, she gave me material that was $80.00 a yard and I was scared stiff that if I messed up I would not be able to replace the fabric… but once again my training kicked in and what my grandmother taught me helped me to make the beautiful dress and head piece that she still has to this day….the third challenge is the little Red Serge RCMP outfits that I am making for the two 18" boy dolls for my two great nieces…Once again I have no pattern just the original red serge to go by…I am working hard to make it exactly like the original one the girls grandfather wore to his wedding out of the original one he wore…making all the tiny insignia and things that go on the Jacket is time consuming and very finicky,,. but I am trying to do a fantastic job of this too. I would love to have the Logan doll and his patterns… that would be my high lite for 2018. Thanks Cinnamon and the Liberty Jane and Pixie faire team…have a great 2018 and may God richly Bless your endeavors in the new year.
