My biggest challenge is finding things to make for my grandson. My granddaughter is easy – dresses, doll clothes – but my grandson is a challenge. He would love this pilot outfit. He is so into Star Wars. Thank you!

My biggest challenge is finding the time to just finish a project in a reasonable amount of time… without stopping & starting in short bursts of sewing.

My biggest challenge for sewing and knitting is finishing the project. For knitted garments, it’s sewing up the seams and then for knitted or sewn items, putting on the snaps and/or buttons. I am in the process of working my way through my tub of 2017 (and a couple of 2016) projects that need FINISHING!!!!! Just started yesterday… LOL!

“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is making button holes on my sewing machine. I have never mastered how to make it the correct size for my doll clothes and I am always afraid of ruining my garment after I have invested so much time and energy into making it. I have made numerous samples and no two are the same size and sometimes the machine eats a hole in the fabric. I always end up using hook and loop or sewing on snaps behind the buttons. My New Year’s plan is to master this part of sewing.

My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is simply trying to find the time to do it. I love the creative process and the finished product but finding time in my busy life is tough. I would love to win Logan Everett as his name is my cousin and grandfather’s names combined.

My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is always finding enough time to get everything done. There are so many fabulous patterns and marvelous fabrics. not to mention all the ideas floating around in my head of things to sew. I could sew 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, and still never get them all done…..but I’m still going to give it my very best effort! Happy stitches always!

My biggest challenge in knitting is being left handed. When a pattern is at all complicated I have to rewrite certain sections as I will be knitting the left front side of a sweater when the pattern is actually for the righthand side etc meaning buttonholes are something I have to pay attention for. Cabling has to be completely knitted differently or I don’t get the correct result. Increases and decreases don’t work the same either as the slants are ‘wrong’ when I knit exactly as the pattern is written.
I would love to find a chart that has how a lefty should knit certain stitches to get the same effect as a right handed knitter gets
