Walking in the snow.
My favorite winter sport is watching figure skating contests on television (or my niece on the ice). I really enjoy the fluidity of the sport and the skater’s ability to maintain their balance on thin blades.
My favorite winter sport is ice skating because, it is so graceful and elegant. Knowing the athlete spends countless hours on the ice to just make their routine perfect. Just makes me respect them more even if they fall. It is not easy of a sport to do. I look a few lessons when I was young adult.it is hard to skate. I see why they start kids out so young in hopes that one day they might become a champion.

As a child, I loved to go sledding. I’ve always lived in Alaska, but the past few years I get too cold to spend time outside (I go to the gym). It’s blowing around 40 mph right now. So, my favorite thing to do in the winter is to help others out by visiting, assisting, baking, or knitting (too dark to sew) for them.

Long past my outdoor winter sports days, I would have to say my favorite winter sport is sipping hot cocoa and watching the snow fall as I cut out material for doll coats! I am super excited about Corrine however and would love to add her to my collection as sewing for her would open me up to sewing with materials and styles outside my comfort zone.
