My greatest sewing challenge is finding the time to make the doll clothes
My biggest challenge is not finishing something before going onto another project.
My biggest challenge is to finish a project before I’m interrupted.
I have a hard time finding sheer (&,or) lace fabrics with a small print.
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing projects that I put on the back burner for the new projects. I have too many irons in the fire but I love doing it all. Down size? Not a chance, tried it, didn’t work. Thanks for the giveaways.
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing projects without getting distracted.
My biggest sewing challenge is getting started—finding the time and deciding on my fabric and patterns to use!
My biggest sewing challenge is working with small parts, time to work on projests, and dealing with my arthritis and shaking in my hands from parkinson.
My greatest sewing challenge is finding the time to make the doll clothes
My biggest sewing challenge is my arthritis in my hands.
My biggest challenge is finishing projects. I have so many to do. Sometimes they sit for years! Thanks for the contest.
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is threading the darn serger! as many times as I’ve done it, I still have problems every time I thread it and have to haul out the manual!
My biggest sewing challenge is that I was sitting so much that I started having pains in my leg. So now I can’t sit as much and therefore can’t sew as much as I can’t figure out how to sew standing up.
Buttonholes! A bad buttonhole can ruin the whole piece. Also zippers. I avoid them if possible!
When I first started I made two angel bunnies. The way I understood the directions for the wings made no since.
I never did figure out how the instructions worked. I made my own version of the wings. That was over 30 years ago.
I still have the pattern. Every time I see it I remember how hard it was.
I never made the angels again. How ever I have made several 30” bunnies and have 11 to go. :)
My biggest challenge is sewing again with arthritis in my hands and knuckles. I love sewing and always made doll clothes for my daughter growing up. I would even make her & her doll matching outfits. But now, fast forward 30 years & I have moderate to severe arthritis in my hands & the pain makes it difficult to do any crafts. I have a nearly 5 year old granddaughter who just got her first AG doll (a 14" Welliwisher) and this Grandma is going to have to make it a wardrobe for her birthday in March. I may be able to knit it a sweater too…wish me luck.
My biggest challenge is finding the material for my pattern. Light weight wool in different colors is hard for me to find
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is not letting my perfectionism get in the way of starting a project for fear that it will not be good enough.
My biggest challenge…Five granddaughters with 18" dolls who also got 14" dolls for Christmas this year! It is made somewhat easier by cutting out five items from the same pattern at a time and assembly-line sewing. I also try to use fabrics that can use the same color thread and wind multiple bobbins before I start.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding enough time to build momentum on my projects so that I finish them in a timely manner and don’t have stacks of unfinished projects. My other challenge is financial, I have a very limited budget, but wold love to have more to be able to spend on sewing projects.
My biggest challenge is finishing projects I start! I am enthusiastic at first but then something else catches my attention! OH LOOK SQUIRREL!!! I tried teaching myself to knit, but you guessed it, I didn’t finish and it looked weird! I have never tried to crochet.
My biggest challenge is having my supplies organized so I can find what I need to see!
My biggest challenge is having my supplies organized so I can find what I need to see!
My biggest sewing challenge is learning to operate a serger and start making doll clothes with it. I hope to learn sewing with it
My biggest challenge is my fear of sewing with knits and/or stretchy fabrics. I have various forms of instructions, and a new machine but I’m more comfortable with my old 1969 Singer so I stick with cottons. 😕
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time. I have a long list of things I want to sew as well as requests from others. I am getting better at scheduling time to sew.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finishing a project once I get started!
My biggest sewing challenge is figurin out how to embellish my outfit…to me an outfit isn’t complete unless it has ribbon…or lace…or piping…or trim…etc, etc;)
My biggest sewing challenge is choosing fabric!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding the time and the focus to work on projects at the moment.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding time to sit down and work on my projects
My biggest sewing challenges are finding time to see and when my cats try to “help” me sew.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is because I don’t crochet very often, it’s difficult for me to keep the tensions equal (if that makes sense). I try once in a while tho!!
My biggest sewing issue is with zippers and buttonholes. As to knitting and crocheting, oh how I wish I could. I see so many lovely doll outfits that are knitted or crochet but I really have a hard time learning.
My biggest struggle/challenge is getting everything I want to accomplish finished. I have so many projects started and then I see something else I want to try so I start another project. I need to be more disciplined to finish at least one project before starting another one. I also have a hard time telling people no when they ask me to make something for them.
My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to sew all of the adorable patterns I have for my grand-daughters’ AG dolls.
My biggest sewing, knitting or crochet challenge is keeping all the tiny sewing trims and pattern pieces organized, following the knitting patterns (especially with tiny size hooks – I usually lose my place unless I complete the item all in one sitting) and crocheting to scale for doll items.
My biggest struggle with sewing or crocheting is stopping before 1 or 2 in the morning, when I get going on a project I want to finish it and then get back up early to continue .. LOL
My biggest challenge is keeping my supplies organized. I’m trying!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge are- sewing- the sewing machine. It’s old and no book to go to it. After getting it finally ready I need to stop. Knitting- I know nothing about it. Crochet is hard to learn a new pattern I use to do just granny squares. Now I’m trying different patterns WHAT A CHALLENGE THAT CAN BE.
God Bless and Thank you, Lori
My biggest challenge with my crocheting, knitting and sewing is trying not to get distracted by other things that need to be done!
My biggest crochet challenge is not losing interest in a big project and finishing it.
My biggest challenge with my crocheting, knitting and sewing is not letting other things, like email😀, get me side tracked and use up my time😀😀
My biggest problem knitting or crocheting is I find it very hard to learn how to do it.
My biggest sewing challenge at the moment is finding my balance between normal life and my sewing projects… finding time to be mom to 3 1/2 teenagers (yes 1/2… my youngest is 11 going on 16… trying to keep up with her sybs)… and a wife to my wonderful husband. I love to make doll clothes, but definitely struggle to keep up with all that is on my plate.
My biggest sewing challenge is time. However, I plan to retire 1/1/20 so hope to concur part of that problem. My biggest crochet and knitting challenge is talking my daughter into doing it for me. :)
My biggest sewing challenge is finding enough time to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge at the moment is a brand new sewing room crammed with boxes from our move — and not knowing where the boxes with my sewing machine and other essentials are hiding!
My biggest challenge is my growing WIP pile. I keep telling myself to finish 1 WIP before starting a new project but I quickly get off track and add to the pile. It’s a battle I cannot win😂
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge like many others here is finding the time to sew, plus I keep buying fabric and picturing the finished product in my mind, but my mind is as far as I get.
My greatest crocheting challenge is taking a pattern for an 18inch doll and transforming it into an outfit for a 14inch doll!
My biggest sewing challenge is Procrastination :(
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is …” finding time to complete everything I want to do! Right now I’m trying to find an easy to teach crochet project for a home-ec class. I also don’t enjoy weaving in tails.
My biggest sewing and knitting challenge is definitely finding the time to do them.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is deciding which project to do first. Too often something else gets priority though.
biggest sewing challenge is deciding on and completing one project. I have 40 started and they will only need the right buttons to complete, etc, and I get sidetracked.
My biggest sewing challenge is starting and actually finishing all of the projects o have purchased fabric for.
My biggest challenge is finding the time.
My biggest challenge is deciding which project to start from so many delightful choices – then finishing the one I start before beginning another one!
Time, finishing before I start a new project, and having too many projects are all a problem for me, but the biggest challenge is that whether I try to crochet left or right handed (I am naturally left handed) I can’t get the tension correct, so such projects are off limits for me..
“My biggest sewing challenge is sewing Bias tape!
I struggle to find the time to make all that I want too
“My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is staying motivated in cramped and overflowing quarters. I’ve been shopping for several years in anticipation of finally retiring and the day came on my 74th birthday but my fabric inventory is now daunting! So many ideas, patterns, fabrics, etc. and where do I start? May the stitching begin.
My biggest challenge is finding the time to sew and then actually beginning the project I want to sew.

My biggest sewing challenge is getting started.
My biggest sewing challenge is inserting zippers in doll clothes; and of, course finding time to sew.
My biggest sewing challenge is just getting started. There always seems to be ten other things that need to be done first.
My biggest sewing challenge is feeling inspired.
My biggest challenge for sewing, knitting, or crocheting is just scheduling the time to do it. I schedule other important events in my life so why can’t or don’t I schedule time for this?
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is ironing the tiny little seams on the Wellie Wishers clothes! My regular iron is useless.
My biggest sewing challenge is finishing one project before starting another. I have several UFO’s.

My biggest sewing challenge is keeping my supplies and projects organized.
My biggest sewing challenge is trying to decide which fabric to use with which pattern. Sometimes it’s so hard to get started because I have so many choices.

Have you ever seen a round tuit? I have the Biggest Round Tuit anyone has EVER seen!!! Procrastination is my biggest challenge in LIFE! I have a HUGE collection of Patterns and Videos but have yet to make anything. I’m afraid of failure so I don’t try! I am making it my New Year Priority to get going and KEEP going so if you would, keep me in your Prayers! Love-Flo
My biggest sewing challenge is making things look “polished” or professional. I feel like my
items always have a tacky homemade look to them.
My biggest challenge is finding time to sew. I really like to stick with a project to completion, but I’m caregiving for three family members now and rarely have any energy left. But that’s just now. I dream of uninterrupted time, energy, cause I already have unlimited fabric and supplies!
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is finding the time to sew all the projects that I’ve lined up! I love fabric way too much and have quite a stash built up at the moment.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is sewing in zippers and pockets. I worked at an alterations shop and learned to sew in zippers but that was a few years ago and I am out of practice. My son wants pockets in his pajama pants so I am learning how to make and sew in pockets.
My biggest sewing, knitting, or crochet challenge is actually putting my plans into action. I sew a LOT in my head.
My biggest challenge is making the edges professional like casings and trim

My biggest sewing challenge is finding the time to sit and create. I also struggle with rolled hems. I have a rolled hem foot, I’m just struggling to use it properly and effectively.
