This versatile 18 inch doll clothes pattern by BramBelles Boutique offers two skirt lengths and a bodice design with four waistband options. The skirt is pleated at the front to give a "tulip" shape. It has an elegant bateau neckline and the bodice is lined. The back of the dress uses a zip fastening. There is plenty of scope for using braids and laces for embellishments.
Recommended Fabrics:
- Day Dress - Denim, Broderie Anglaise, quilting cottons, poplin, lightweight wools, suiting, dupioni silk, raw silk, linen and other fabrics that will hold the pleats well.
- Evening Dress - satins, satin backed crepes, taffetas, brocade, lace, and some beaded fabrics

- Fat Quarter of Fabric (at least 18” x 18”)
- Lining: 11” x 13”
- Evening Dress:
- Main Fabric - 22” x 22” (Yardage)
- Lining: 11” x 13”
- A small amount of contrast fabric for front waistband approximately 7” x 4” if Options 1, 2 or 3 are chosen
- Matching thread
- 5 or 6-inch zip or 5” piece hook and loop tape
- Shank button or bead (1/4”) – Optional
- Embellishments for waistband
