This sweet and sassy little sun dress, by Jelly Bean Soup Designs, can be made in several different ways. Add the apron or ruffle, or leave them off. Get creative with the use of different colors and or fabrics. Your 18 inch doll will love however her dress turns out! Also included in this PDF sewing pattern are instructions for an optional zipper closure or hook and loop tape .
Recommended Fabrics: Cotton or Cotton Homespun
Supplies Needed:
-1/3 yard total for the entire dress.
-1/4 yards or scraps large enough to cut the piece if using various colors and combinations.
-1/8 yard or scraps for lining the bodice,
-1 6 or 7 inch zipper or 6 inches of hook and loop tape
-1 to 1 1/4 yards of lace, rickrack or trim.
-Matching thread.
-Optional -- Rotary Cutter, Ruler and Mat to cut skirt, ruffle and straps.
