This PDF pattern is the perfect medieval style costume inspired by a legendary heroic outlaw and archer that is depicted in English folklore. Whether your doll likes to play dress up or be a historical re-enactor, this outfit will fit right in. Some elements in the design have been adopted from the Middle-Ages.
The outfit includes a tunic with a crenelated pattern along the bottom hem as a distinctive element. The v-neck is finished with eyelets and a cord.
The pants are tight towards the bottom for boots to be worn over. They also have an elastic waist.
The cowl can be lined or you can use fabric that does not fray. Both options are included. It closes at the back of the neck with hook-and-loop tape.
Accessories include a felt hat, belt, and arm guards. The arm guards are made from leather with ribbon stitched on to look like ties. The belt and armguards close with hook-and-loop tape.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
