Martita 18" Doll Knitting Pattern

It's the details in this pretty spring and summer suit that make it so special! Notice the lace edging on the sleeves and around the neckline of the sweater. Wear it with the buttons in the back to show off the lace pattern in the body of the sweater. Turn it around for a cute cardigan to go with anything in your 18" dolls wardrobe.

Knit in my signature style from the neck down so the only sewing is the sleeve seams. The yoke is a plain knit with the pattern beginning under the sleeves. Closes with 5 buttons either in the front or back.

The straight mini skirt is knitted with a twisted rib waistband and has a button band in the back. Just one seam to sew in the back of the skirt. Along the hemline is the same pretty lace pattern as the sweater.

Recommended Yarns: Any size 3 yarns such as: Loops & Threads® Joy DK™, Loops & Threads® Snuggly Wuggly™,  Bernat® Softee® Baby™ 

Supplies Needed:

- DK or Light size 3 yarn
- approximately 1.8 oz. (53 gm) of yarn for the sweater and skirt
- approximately 3 oz. (10 gm) of yarn for the purse and ties
- size 3 U.S. (3.25 mm) straight needles
- size 6 U.S. (4 mm) straight needles
- size 6 U.S. (4 mm) circular needles (optional)
- 4 stitch markers
- 5 small buttons for the sweater
- 1 small button for the skirt yarn
- needle needle and thread
- row counter (optional)
