Let it snow! Sweater - This pattern features beading that resembles a soft snow falling on a cool winter’s night!
This adorable little sweater has two lengths. The waist length version is perfect over a party skirt and the longer hip length version is lovely over dress pants or jeans. There is also a short sleeve option. The sweater is knit top down with raglan sleeves. Short rows are used to create a soft, relaxed neckline. This sweater is not reversible.
The sweater can also be knit without beads! Long length, cropped length, short sleeves, long sleeves, beads or no beads - So many options!

Stitches used: k, p, k2tog, SSK, SSPtbl, +B (add a bead), yarn over short rows.
Recommended Yarns: light DK yarn (Light Category 3)
Suggested yarns: Snuggly Wuggly® from Loops & Threads®, 100% acrylic
Sweet Delight® from Baby Bee®, 60% acrylic and 40% polyamide

- Sweater: Sweater: US size 2.5 (3.0mm) circular needles for the body of sweater and US size 2.0 (2.75mm) for the neckband, cuffs, and waistband. Circular needles are suggested to hold all the stitches. Optional: US size 2.5 (3.0mm) and US size 2.0 (2.75mm) double pointed needles are suggested for the sleeves.
Yarn:
- Approximately 50 grams of light DK yarn (Light Category 3).
Beads:
- Size 6/0 seed beads (approximately 90)
Notions:
- Tapestry needle for weaving in ends
- 6 buttons, 3/8” (5 buttons for the cropped version)
- 4 stitch markers
- Dental floss threader
