If you loved the ‘70s this pattern bundle is perfect for you! Kay Carr's ‘70s Mix & Match for 18” dolls is the first of the pattern bundle featuring a dress, skirt, sweater, 2 headbands, and matching purse combo. The possibilities are endless especially if you combine it with Kay Carr’s ‘70s Cardigan and Kay Carr’s ‘70s Essentials.
Kay Carr’s ‘70s Mix & Match is an easy pattern that goes up quickly. The dress is knit from the neck down so there is only a little sewing for the sleeve and back seams. It has a pretty open lace stitch in the skirt making it the perfect dress for any special occasion. For those cool evenings top it with the sweater made with three-quarter sleeves.
And speaking of the sweater, it too is knit from the neck down so all you have to sew are the seams for the sleeves. There is a choice of length for the sleeves on this versatile sweater which will complete any dolls wardrobe. Notice the easy to do embroidery work on the front of the sweater! The instructions for the embroidery are included in the pattern.
The skirt too is an easy knit with a twisted rib waistband and the open lace stitch. With the sweater, it makes an ideal dressy suit. Or add the matching headband and wear the skirt with your favorite top. So many choices!
But we can't forget the matching purse! On one side it has the open lace stitch and is backed with a coordinating color knit in the stocking stitch. No matter how you embellish it this stylish purse it is bound to make a statement.
Kay Carr’s ‘70’s Mix & Match has so much to offer! The perfect pattern for your creative talents.
