Karina's Cozy Sweater is an easy knit for beginners and for those with a bit of experience it goes up quite quickly. You will want to make a few to compliment your doll's wardrobe. This dressy sweater pairs well with pants or skirts and on cool days over a pretty dress.
The sweater is knit from the neck down so there are only two simple seams under the sleeves. The pretty open pattern borders the sleeves and the body of the sweater.
There are two styles of of the sweater included in the instructions. The first version is hip-length with four buttons which allow it to hang slightly open at the bottom. A very nice length for tights or pants. The second version is shorter with five buttons so that it closes right to the waist.
The instructions are easy to follow with pictures to illustrate. There are brackets at the beginning of each row which allow you to mark off the rows as you go so you won't lose your spot. For the more experienced knitters there is a written summary of the pattern.
