This extremely versatile PDF sewing pattern from ReadC reations has a long-sleeve and sleeveless version of the Ice-Skating Leo. Bonus instructions on how to make it one-colored are also included. If you omit the skirt you can use it as a gymnastics or ballet leotard or use it as a swimsuit. With this pattern you can create 8 variations when you mix and match the following options: long-sleeve or sleeveless, with or without skirt, one or multi color.
The one-colored, skirt-less option might even be simple enough for a confident beginner sewer.

Supplies needed for Long-Sleeve Leo with Skirt
• 1/4 yard of lycra, knit or performance wear (e.g Mystique), one or two colors
• 5/8" fold-over-elastic (FOE) at least 16" long
• 3 mm or 4 mm rhinestones (optional)
Supplies needed for Sleeveless Leo with Skirt
• 1/4 yard of lycra, knit or performance wear (e.g Mystique), one or two colors
• 5/8" fold-over-elastic (FOE) at least 23" long
• 3 mm or 4 mm rhinestones (optional)
Supplies needed for One-Colored Sleeveless Leo without Skirt (most basic version)
• 7" x 9" lycra, knit or performance wear remnant or child’s old Leo or swimsuit
(main stretch needs to go across the 9" part)
• 5/8" fold-over-elastic (FOE) at least 23" long
