The Gems shoe, by Ma Petite Cherie Couture, is a striped slip on shoe. This pattern will show you how to create a cute shoe for your 13-14.5" doll. The shoe is crocheted in 3 pieces and then crocheted together. No sewing required!! It has a crocheted flange that is glued between a fabric covered sole and a cardboard sole covered with a foam sole, with a crochet edge that covers the seam between the two perfectly.
This PDF crochet pattern is designed to fit 13-14.5" dolls such as Corolle® Les Cheries, Hearts for HeartsGirls® and WellieWishers™. It is also available for 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: Cotton crochet thread and cotton fabric
Supplies Needed:
- 2 small balls of size 10 or bedspread weight crochet thread in 2
- colors
- Size 7 or 1.65 mm steel hook
- 1 scrap of fabric
- 1 scrap white fleece, 2mm craft foam or 2 pixie pack #2 foam
- soles
- Cardboard or chipboard or 2 pixie pack #2 cardboard soles
- Hot glue gun and sticks
- 1 removable marker
