Your 18 inch doll and his/her team will be ready for the tournament in this sporty Fast Break Lacrosse Uniform by JenAshley Doll Designs. The pattern includes two pieces:
- A sleeveless top with a round neckline and color blocking with trim on the front. The top opens and closes in the back with hook and loop tape.
- Shorts which feature a contrasting band and have no side seams, allowing for trim along the band without the extra bulk.
The ribbon or twill tape trim on the on the front of the top and along the shorts allow for adding interesting and customizing your uniform. Use your team, school, or favorite colors and have fun creating a great little uniform for your doll. This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: Ponte knit, sports mesh, or knit fabric with similar weight and stretch
Supplies Needed:
*1/4 yard primary fabric
*1/6 - 1/4 yard secondary fabric
*1 yard 1/2 - 5/8 inch wide grosgrain ribbon or twill tape (optional for trim)
*1/8 yard or small scrap of ribbing
*7 inches of 1/4 - 3/8 inch wide hook/loop tape
*10.5 inches of 3/8 inch wide elastic
*Safety pin for inserting elastic
*Matching or contrasting thread
*Optional: iron-on numbers, letters, motifs, etc. or machine
embroidery designs
