Take a nostalgic trip back to the 80s, when comfy but classy oversize clothing reigned. This pattern, by Thimbles and Acorns, features a baggy fitting pair of overalls that taper to fit at the ankle. The overalls are held up with straps that fasten on a small front bib with buttons or snaps and large deep front pockets are set in the front and side seams. Topstitching is used to enhance various seams and outlines. The overalls can be left loose or cinched at the waist paper bag style with the D-ring belt that is included as a bonus tutorial. The 80s styled Tee fastens in the back with snaps or hook and loop tape and completes the look of this trendy 80s ensemble with its boxy torso and oversize armholes.

- Two 1/4” buttons, snaps can be use under the buttons if not using working buttonholes
Belt
- 15” of 1/2” wide grosgrain ribbon
- 1 1/2” x 1/2” AND 1” x 1/2” pieces of lightweight vinyl fabric (vinyl ribbon is the ideal weight)
- Two 1/2” wide D-rings OR lingerie sliders
- School glue or fabric glue
