Powwows are colourful occasions where the dancers wear traditional costumes with beautiful beadwork, feathers, and ribbons of all colours. Fancy Dancer is my interpretation of a dancing dress a young girl might wear to these special events.
Fancy Dancer is a 4 piece set consisting of a tunic with a tie, elastic waisted skirt, and a ribboned shawl in 2 sizes.
The pattern is quite easy and is user friendly. Just print and cut out. Included are written instructions with pictures every step of the way. Use your imagination when making this set and trim however you like. Or add bead work to the tunic for a very dressy look. Anyway you make it your doll will be ready for the next Powwow.
This pattern by My AG Doll Creations is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
