The Edwardian Walking Suit, by Just 4 Us Dolls, is a four piece ensemble inspired by fashion for young ladies around the turn of the century. This beautiful look includes a hat, vest with a pleated peplum, fitted skirt with back pleats and Gibson Girl blouse for 18" dolls. The vest and skirt use buttons or snaps for closure while the blouse closes in the back with hook & loop tape. The easy to follow instructions include step-by-step pictures to help even less experienced sewers create a beautiful garment.
Suggested Fabrics: The suggested fabric for the skirt, vest & hat is mid-weight wovens such as twill, linen or a mid-weight cotton blend. Suggested blouse fabric is lightweight woven or lightweight satins/polyester. Polyester apparel lining will work well for the vest and hat lining.
