This PDF sewing bundle includes the "Edwardian Fancy", "Heirloom Hat" and "Dress it Up" patterns- everything you need to complete a stunning Edwardian inspired ensemble.
"Edwardian Fancy" is a perfect choice for a “fancy” gown that can be dressed up or down. Depending on your fabric and embellishment choices it can be appropriate for an afternoon stroll at Downton Abbey, or an elegant gown for evening festivities on the Titanic.
It has a 3/4 length sleeve, edged with eyelet or lace. The high waist is accented with a two-tier ruffled peplum edged with lace, and a matching waistband encircles the bodice.
The skirt is narrow and fitted, typical for the period. It has an inset front panel, edged with lace and embellished with optional seed pearls. The bodice has an inset lace panel for just the right touch of elegance. This dress can be made of cotton for a simple look for day, or silk for an elegant evening ensemble.
The "Heirloom Hat" is surprisingly easy to make, with complete instructions to transform an ordinary 9" straw hat into this elaborate creation. Video instructions are also included.
The brim of the hat is covered with a fabric that gently tucks around the edge, and the inside of the hat is completely lined. The crown of the hat is edged with a pleated ruffle made from coordinating fabric. Silk flowers, tulle, ribbon, and an ostrich feather complete the elegant look.
The finishing touches come with the pattern "Dress it Up". Included in the pattern are long & short gloves and an elegant fringe-trimmed purse, complete with calling cards to slip inside it when your doll goes on social visits.
Special Note: The Edwardian Fancy, Heirloom Hat, and Dress It Up patterns are all available individually as well.
