And, the pattern also includes cute, modern clothing options. Choose a dress with an elasticized, ruffled neckline or shorten to a tunic which is paired with fashionable skinny pants.
The 38-page PDF includes complete instructions with many special doll-making tips; a face stencil for drawing a pretty doll face; a hair loom for a super quick way to make a gorgeous head of hair; and optional positional hands.
This 18-inch doll pattern includes full-sized pattern pieces, no need to enlarge or reduce anything, just cut and go! Designed to be sewn in easy-to-use felt. You'll want to make more than one!
Recommended Fabrics: Wool or Sythetic Felt
Supplies Needed:
1. One piece of felt 36” x 12”. We love pure wool felt but the doll can be made from any type of felt
2. One skein of medium weight yarn (at least 50 yards)
3. Watercolor pencils in white, red or pink, and the eye color of your choice. You may also wish to use a drop of white fabric paint for the eyes.
4. One ultrafine black felt-tipped pen
5. One 7-inch needle
6. Embroidery floss or left over yarn
7. One 12 oz. bag of stuffing (we love the eco-friendly type )
8. A few large fabric scraps for the clothing
