This is a very quick knit using only purl and knit stitches to create the pattern stitch. The little cardigan looks classy with its collar and puffy elbow length sleeves. Suitable for those cool but not cold days.
Knit from bottom upwards. flat from the hem upwards with a front buttoned closure. The sleeves knit separately and are joined at the bodice. Use your dpns or circular needles when joining the sleeves to the rest of body.
Suitable to wear with a jeans or even over a shorts or a dress.
Stitches used: knit, purl, YO, skp, kf&b and knit 2 together.

Set 1: Stylecraft® Special Double Knit = 40 grams (117.6 meters /128.6 yards)
Other supplies:
- Straight or circular knitting needles sizes US 4 + 5 (3.50 mm + 3.75 mm).
- DPNS size US 4 (3.50 mm) x 2 to help with the extra stitches when joining the sleeves.
- Buttons x 2
- Row counter or a pencil to tick off the rows as you knit.
- Tapestry + ordinary sewing needle.
- Small scissors.
- Ruler or tape measure.
THE GAUGE:
13 stitches over 18 stockinette rows using
US 4 (3.50 mm) knitting needles = 2'' X 2'' (5cm x 5cm).
