Chevron Shifts 18" Doll Clothes

Create vibrant and interesting dresses! This shift dress pattern plays with stripes
to create fun and interesting chevron designs. The shoulders are finished with
contrasting inserts and there is a hook-and-loop closure at the back.

With this pattern you can sew 3 variations for different effects:

• Straight shift with a split front and bias binding finish around the neckline and armholes.
• Shift with a split skirt section with bias binding at the neckline and armholes.
• Shift with a split skirt section with fully lined Bodice.

This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18 inch dolls such as American Girl®.

Recommended Fabrics: Medium weight woven fabric. Cotton, Quilting Cotton, Linen, Sheeting and similar.

Full Shift — Lined Bodice

• Striped Fabric — 5.5” x 20”
• Lining — 2.5” x 10”
• Bias Binding — 31.5”
• Hook-and-Loop tape — 3.5”
