When making doll clothing, a lot of us avoid buttonholes and eyelets because they are difficult to get "just right." With these embroidery designs, however, perfect, beautiful buttonholes and eyelets can be stitched at the edge of a garment, starting at 1/8" away from the edge, all the way to 1/2" away. They can be perfectly spaced vertically at the following measurements: 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", 3/4", 7/8", 1", 1 1/8", and 1-1/4" apart. Or for buttonholes that aren't quite stitched at these intervals, you can choose a design that will let you space them a "smidge" closer or farther apart.
