Outback Libby: Alice Springs is the newest addition to the collection from Liberty Jane. A casual style dress with feminine flair, wear it in the spring and summer months with sandals and a cute tote, or layer it in the fall with boots and a cardigan. The possibilities are endless!
The doll clothes pattern features one dress design with a empire waist bodice, V shaped spliced neckline with layered placard, and a mandarin style collar. The design can be made with two different skirting options:
- View A is designed as 3 inverted curved tiers, this allows the skirt to have gathered tiers but controlled fullness as each tier is added. (Shown in lavender)
- View B uses traditional rectangular tiers and works well for fabrics with a directional print like stripes, pinwale corduroy, or gingham. (Shown in the floral print)
Both versions includes long sleeves with a narrow elastic casing to provide fullness at the wrist-line. The back of the dress is open from the top to the bottom and can be finished with hook and loop tap or snaps.

Suggested fabrics: Woven no stretch, Cotton lawn, Crinkle Rayon, Rayon Blends, Quilting Cotton. View A not suitable for stripes, plaid, or gingham. View B suitable for stripes, plaid, gingham, and pinwale corduroy

- 6” of ¼” wide hook and loop tape
- 8” of 1⁄8” width elastic
- Light weight fusible interfacing (for Collar and Front Placard)
- Thread
