A Pocket For My Posies by Love from Lola. Summertime means a walk through the field picking wildflowers along the way. Every girl needs a place to store those wildflowers. A Pocket for my Posies has pockets that are perfect for keeping every beautiful flower she finds. Princess seams along with a slightly gathered skirt accent the front of the dress. The two gathered pockets on either side of the dress are a perfect place for some flowers. The dress opens fully at the back making it easy for small hands to dress. It can be finished with a simple hook and look closure or buttons and button holes can also be used.
This pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®. It is also available on Pixie Faire for 14.5" dolls such as WellieWishers™.
Recommended Fabrics: woven cottons.
Supplies Needed:
- 18 inch dolls
- 1/3 yard fabric - woven cottons work well
- 5 inches of 1/4 inch elastic
- 7 inches of hook and loop
- 5 buttons (optional)
