The Old School Backpack is functional and trendy whether going to school, dance class, sleep overs or just looking awesome. It features a ton of options that are only limited by your imagination. The PDF sewing pattern features three pocket options: a zipper pocket, simple pocket, pocket with a flap; or keep it simple, and leave the pocket off. You have the choice of a trimmed or untrimmed main flap, a plastic buckle option with the zipper pocket or a buckle with leather/vinyl stop for all options.

Recommended Fabrics: Body: Medium-weight cotton, denim, twill, quilting cottons, flannel and batiks. Lining: Quilting cottons and broadcloth. Leather/Vinyl Trim: Choose lighter weight vinyls with some stretch. Lighter weight bonded leathers work well too.
