Spanish Dancer by Love From Lola. Taking some inspiration from the Spanish Flamenco dancers this dress is full of ruffles and frills. Coming from a form of dance that originated in Spain where the dress is as much a part of the dance as the dancer herself is. A simple kick of the heel will set the many ruffles of the skirt to dancing, while the ruffles on the shoulders and sleeves accentuate all the arm movements of the dancer. To finish off their costume the dancers often wear their hair in a simple bun accented with a fancy hairpin or a beautiful flower.
The blouse is accented at the shoulders with two ruffles, and a soft ruffle at the cuff of the 3/4 length sleeves. An optional rolled collar finishes off the blouse.
The skirt consists of five layers of ruffles which finish in a slight train. Use all five tiers to create a full ruffled skirt, or use only a few tiers to create a completely different look.
Both the blouse and skirt can be made with fabric ruffles, or a wide variety of lace and trim.
Also included as a bonus is a fabric hair flower.
