Time to make a new pair of shoes! You can make a variety of colors and styles of flip flop style shoes with the Stacy and Stella Pacific Blue Sandles pattern designed to fit 18 inch American Girl Dolls. Two strap styles are included in the PDF pattern - the fabric style and a beaded style.
Supplies Needed: -1/4 yard of thin leather type fabric
-Small piece thicker leather for bottom of sole (or vinyl, foam, ect.)
-Leather punch, leather or denim sewing needles
-Fabric or beads for straps
-1/4″ wide transparent elastic
-Fabric glue
Skill Level: Easy. You will need the basic understanding of how to use a sewing machine. The assembly may be considered intermediate but the instructions are very clear and easy to follow.
