The Hoppity PDF Pattern, by Genniewren Designs, will help you make a cute Easter bunny outfit for 18 inch dolls and 15 inch baby dolls (e.g. the Bitty Baby and Bitty Twins). Of course, Hoppity is not just for Easter - this pattern would make an ideal Halloween costume too!
The bunny suit has a choice of a hook and loop tape or zipper front closure and features raglan sleeves with paws, feet, a lined hood with floppy bunny ears, and a fluffy tail.
Recommended Fabrics: Stretch fabrics only e.g. fleece, stretch velvet, fur fabric, Minky.
Supplies Needed:
-Half a yard (0.5 meters) of fleece, stretch velvet or fur fabric (main fabric)
-One third of a yard (0.3 meters) of fleece, stretch velvet or fur fabric (contrast fabric)
OR: 16” x 11” (40 cm x 28 cm) contrast fabric for the fleece/fur fabric version only
WITH 24” x 11” (61 cm x 28 cm) teeshirt jersey for hood and ears linings for the fleece/fur fabric option only.
-9” (23 cm) nylon or polyester zipper (do not use a zipper with metal teeth);
OR approximately 7” (18 cm) Anti Snag hook and loop tape for closure (or you could use snaps if preferred)
-Optional: A small amount of fiber fill (polyester toy filling) for the tail.
