Recommended Fabrics: Main fabric: Medium or lightweight sweatshirt fleece, lightweight fleece, french terry, medium weight t-shirt knit or flannel. The cuffs: Neckband and waistbands require ribbing, Ponte or quality medium weight 4-way stretch knit. Zipper: Dress weight, invisible or doll weight. Invisible and doll weight are best. Doll weight zipper resource: www.zipperthatdoll. com Up-cycling a sweatshirt will give you ribbing and fabric. Also a ribbed tank tops are great for ribbing.
Supplies Needed:
-¼ yard of medium weight knit or flannel
-⅛ yard of ribbing or medium stretch knit (4” stretches to 6”)
-12” dress weight zipper (regular or invisible)
-Two sided ¼” quilters tape
-Fray-Away® or similar product (optional)
-Thread
-Ball point needle (size 12 or 14)
