The Lillian Dress is the third in a series of seven in the Tribute Collection. It’s a waistline halter dress with three different skirt lengths: short, knee and tea; that is enhanced with an impressive arc and diamond-shaped bias appliqué. The dress bodice stands out with a scooped front neckline and a snap closure front with mock buttons, for easy dressing and undressing. The back of the dress is open with vertical straps as an added design feature. The dress is designed to fit snugly on your doll.
Complete the outfit with The 003 Sandals, also available on Pixie Faire.
This PDF sewing pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.
Recommended Fabrics: Light to medium weight quilting cotton, Swiss batiste, and cotton lawn

Designer Note: The arc bias design on the skirt is narrow enough that it is acceptable to cut the strips on fabric grain. There may be slight puckering when gluing the strips to the skirt; however, they are easily ironed out. In the pattern instructions, these will be commonly referred to as a bias strip. If you wish to cut the strips on the bias, which is slightly easier to form the design shape, you will need 7/8 yard of coordinating fashion fabric. Due to the design, it is not recommended to splice the bias strips.
