Recommended Fabrics: Body: Suggested Fabric: Medium-weight stretch denim (6 oz), Medium-weight stretch twill, Medium-weight stretch corduroy, ponte or suiting with stretch.
Supplies Needed:
- ¼ yard fabric (see suggested fabrics)
- Medium-weight stretch woven (see suggested fabric)
- 5” x 5” scrap of broadcloth or quilting cotton
- 10 ½” X ⅓” - 1” wide elastic
- 5” zipper with two pulls or two zippers (zipper option only) OR
- 5” of wide single fold bias tape (faux zipper option only)
- 5” Narrow braided trim (faux zipper option only)
- Small jewelry dangle (faux zipper option only)
- Thread
Zippers: Regular dress weight zippers, doll sized zipper or up-cycling zippers from
clothing are a great source as well.
